OutShare Service Account Administration console is a utility designed for managing OutShare Service Accounts - separate virtual containers on OutShare server holding all the entered company's and personal information of every user created within the Account, as well as Public Folders data. In order to perform Service Account management tasks, connection to OutShare server needs to be established, and the user needs to be logged in with the Service Account or department administrator account.
All objects in Service Account Administration console are arranged into three separate groups according to their character:
Departments and Users
Licenses
Public Folders
The character of the group objects indicates what kind of actions can be applied to the appropriate objects:
In Departments and Users group,
New users, departments and user groups can be created;
Users can be added to and removed from departments and user groups;
User details and department information can be reviewed and edited;
Users can be enabled and disabled;
Departments and user groups can be renamed;
Unneeded users, departments and custom user groups can be deleted.
In Licenses group,
OutShare Synchronizer and Web Access Engine licenses can be assigned to users and departments;
OutShare licenses can be activated and reactivated;
License assignment settings can be reviewed and changed.
In Public Folders group,
New Public Folders can be created;
Public Folders and containing Outlook items can be moved, renamed and deleted;
Permissions for accessing certain Public Folders can be set to Service Account users;
User permissions to Public Folders can be reviewed and edited.
