Arrange user groups

Similarly to distributing users into departments, you may also organize users to user groups. Primary division of users to default user groups according to their access rights to Service Account data is performed automatically. Yet, you may create custom user groups in the Service Account or department, and add the preferred users to these groups on the basis of actual organizational needs.

User groups are also convenient when you need to set same permissions to Public Folders for a certain group of users.

User groups, created both automatically and manually in the Service Account and departments, are listed on Departments and User list view pane. The functions relevant to user group management can be performed by utilizing the command buttons located on Users toolbar and shortcut menu items:

Add User

Open the 'Add Users' form to select the users to be added to the selected user group.

Remove User

Remove the user selected on User details list view pane from current user group.

Disable User/

Enable User

Disable User - disable the user account selected on User details list view pane.

Enable User- enable the user account selected on User details list view pane. Disable User and Enable User buttons are interchanging, and they depend on the current user account status.

New User Group...

Service Account and Departments and Users on the tree view pane - to create a custom user group in the Service Account;

Certain department on tree view pane - to create a custom user group within that department;

Departments and Users list view pane -  to create a custom user group in the Service Account or a certain department, according to which of these is selected on the tree view pane.
