About synchronization filters

The synchronization filters allow you to selectively choose what folder items will be synchronized, and only those items will be synchronized with the server.

You can set the preferred synchronization filters on the Synchronization Filters form depending on the folder type.

• For all folder types:

Select the Attachments check box, if you don't want item attachments in this folder to be synchronized.

• For Calendar/Contacts/Tasks folders:

• Select the Private items check box, if you don't want to synchronize folder items marked as private.

• If you want to synchronize only folder items belonging or not belonging to particular Outlook Categories, select the Synchronize only... whose Categories (e.g. Synchronize only Contacts whose Categories) check box , select the Include/Exclude radio button and select the ( ) button. A standard Outlook form appears where you can select the preferred Categories from the list.

• For Mail folders:

If you don't want to synchronize messages with the particular sensitivity, select Normal, Personal, Private or Confidential check boxes next to the preferred sensitivity types.

• For Calendar folders:

Select the Birthdays of my Contacts check box, if you don't want to synchronize birthdays of your Contacts which are automatically created by Outlook.
