Definitions

The specific terms used for presenting the functionality of Web Access Engine are the following:

• Service Account is a separate virtual space on OutShare server holding all the company's and personal data of every user created within the Account as well as public folders data.

• Service Account user is OutShare user whose user account belongs to a certain Service Account.

• Administrator is OutShare user who has full control over all Service Account (or department) data and possesses the rights to perform various administrative operations.

The person who registers a Service Account is automatically set as the default Service Account administrator, and he/she can set further Service Account administrators by adding them to 'Administrators' user group in the Service Account using Service Account Administration console.

• Public folders – Outlook folders of Mail, Contacts, Calendar, or Tasks type, common for all Service Account users (i.e. accessible to all users without sharing).

• OutShare Web Access Engine licenses – user licenses that provide the access to synchronized Outlook data on web and allow utilizing all features of Web Access Engine.
